Ahead of Trust Vote, MLA Seen Playing Cricket In Tejashwi’s Residence Reported Missing By Family

RJD MLA Chetan Anand’s family has filed a missing complaint at a local police station.

An RJD MLA’s brother has filed a complaint at a local police station alleging that his legislator brother has been missing since he went for a meeting yesterday. The RJD MLA, however, was seen playing cricket inside the residence of former deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna.

In his complaint, Ayushmann Anand, the younger brother of RJD MLA Chetan Anand, has claimed that the latter had left the house saying that he is going to a meeting and will return by evening. The family members are unable to contact him, he said, adding that this has left them worried about his well-being. “So it’s a humble request from the police to find my brother,” the complaint said.

A video from ANI, however, showed Chetan Anand at Tejashwi Yada’s residence. The RJD MLA was seen playing cricket inside the residence of former deputy CM and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna.

The development comes a day before the crucial floor test for the new Nitish Kumar-BJP alliance government in Bihar. The trust vote will kick off the budget session of the state assembly.

The BJP-JD(U) combine has 128 members – BJP has 78 seats, Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United 45 – in the 243-member Bihar assembly, where the majority mark stands at 122. The Opposition Rashtriya Janata Dal and ally Congress hold 114 seats.
