F1 star captured in grim mishap at Amsterdam

Formula One star Lando Norris has been captured with a peculiar facial injury after he was spotted partying in Amsterdam.

Pictures on social media showed Norris with bandages around his face, namely his nose and forehead, during celebrations for Koningsdag (King’s Day).

A number of videos were also circulating of him partying on a boat with world famous DJ Martin Garrix.

PlanetF1 reports Norris cut his nose on broken glass during the night out, with the 24-year-old said to have avoided any major injuries.

Further pictures on social media showed Norris with his nose patched up and no heavy bleeding present.

The McLaren driver will hope the severity of the injuries do not impede his ability with the Miami Grand Prix next weekend.

On Monday morning (AEST), Norris posted a video to his Instagram account showing he’d arrived in Miami.

Norris has started the F1 2024 season strongly, collecting 58 points to sit fifth on the standings, ahead of his Aussie teammate Oscar Piastri.

The 24-year-old finished on the podium in Australia last month and continued to impress with a second at the Chinese GP.
