Morning, United fans
Erik ten Hag says United’s Treble assault proves their “winning culture” is back.
The Red Devils host Fulham in the last FA Cup quarter-final tomorrow.
The Carabao Cup is already in the bag and Sevilla await in the Europa League last eight after United’s 5-1 aggregate rout of Real Betis.
And Ten Hag believes lifting silverware by beating Newcastle last month has elevated his squad’s mindset.
The United boss said: “It is huge motivation. We all enjoyed Wembley and winning a trophy.
“That has to be the fuel for the next one — to get pushed by that idea and that has to bring extra energy to beat Fulham.
“We have to set a winning culture — we are Manchester United. That has to be the mentality.”
Ten Hag expects striker Anthony Martial and probably winger Antony to remain sidelined with injury this weekend.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid are tipped to join the Red Devils and Bayern Munich in pursuing Spurs’ England skipper Harry Kane this summer.
And Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia, 19, is reportedly on the radar of United as well as Chelsea.
Finally, on the takeover front, it’s suggested the Qatari bid led by Sheikh Jassim Bin Hamad al-Thani could be raised from £5billion to nearer the £6bn valuation made by current owners the Glazers.
Rival bidder Sir Jim Ratcliffe met Ten Hag yesterday.
